Hammond EN4SD161210SS 16x12x10 in 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD161210SS is a small Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, 16 in high x 12 in wide x 10 in deep. It is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments, and suits electricians and OEM builders looking for a compact Type 4X box with generous depth.

The body is formed 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door, which uses hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins and Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. The door can be removed for modifications and is interchangeable; ordering adapter kit EHLLSAK allows the swing to be reversed.

From the part drawing: door opening 10.52 in x 14.52 in (W x H), door 11.97 in x 15.97 in, clear space on the door 10.00 in x 14.00 in, inside depth 10.71 in, and Ø 0.50 in wall mounting holes. The included hardware kit provides panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for those holes.

No panel is supplied. Collar studs are provided for the optional EP1612 inner panel (14.20 in x 10.20 in), and there is a bonding stud on the door with a grounding stud in the enclosure. The unit carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66; a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It ships in a box at 19 lbs (8.62 kg). EN4SD161210S16 is the 316 version.
