Hammond DTT6201B460LG 400/460V Top-Mount Air Conditioner, 3500 BTU/h

The DTT6201B460LG is the 400/460 V model of the DTT 1200-4000 BTU/H top-mount indoor air conditioner series. It is intended for industrial control enclosures fed from a 400 V or 460 V supply, giving OEMs and plant electricians a roof-mounted cooling option when side mounting space on the enclosure is not available.

The series spec sheet rates it at 3500 BTU/h (1025 Watts) at +95/+95F (+35/+35C). Rated voltage is 400/460 V (+/- 10%) at 50/60 Hz, with power consumption of 706/845 W, running current of 2.82 / 2.5 A and starting current of 8.5 / 9.3 A. The electrical connection is a terminal block with plug, and a door contact provision allows the unit to shut down when the enclosure door is opened.

Like the rest of the series, the DTT6201B460LG uses closed loop cooling so that clean enclosure air is recirculated without mixing with contaminated ambient air. A patented condensate management system prevents condensate from penetrating the enclosure, and a built-in condensate evaporator is fitted. It uses R134a refrigerant, has a hot gas bypass valve, high capacity fans for continuous circulation, self-diagnostics on startup and LED fault indication. The thermostat, accessible from inside the enclosure, adjusts from +77 to +113F (+25 to +45C).

Overall dimensions are 17.13 in (435 mm) H x 23.41 in (595 mm) W x 15.55 in (395 mm) D; the cutout is 19.37 in x 10.24 in (492 x 260 mm). The unit ships at 82 lbs (37.19 kg) with gasket, mounting kit, template, condensate drain hose and clamp, and fastens with tool-less sash fasteners. Construction is galvanized sheet steel with RAL 7035 powder finish. It maintains NEMA 12, is rated IP 54 and carries UR, cUR and CE approvals.
