Hammond DTS3181SLA2N4SS 230V Type 4X Stainless Slimline Air Conditioner

The DTS3181SLA2N4SS is a 230 V, 50/60 Hz outdoor slimline air conditioner rated Type 4X and finished in 304 stainless steel with a #4 brush. It comes from the DTS SL outdoor series, which side mounts on any enclosure surface where hot spot or low capacity cooling is required, and it fits stainless steel installations where a 4X-rated cooler is specified.

At +95/+95 °F (+35/+35 °C) the 230 V model delivers 5648 BTU/h (1654 W). Closed loop cooling ensures clean enclosure air is recirculated without ever mixing with contaminated ambient air. High capacity fans run continuously, moving 350 CFM on the internal loop and 350 CFM on the external loop (unrestricted). The R134a circuit uses a 700 g charge and an expansion valve for better evaporator heat transfer and less frequent compressor operation.

Electrical data: 198-253 V operating range, 890 W power consumption, 4.49 A running current and 14.8 A starting current, with a terminal block connection. The thermostat adjusts from +59 to +113 °F (+15 to +45 °C), factory set to +95 °F (+35 °C), and is reached from inside the enclosure. Ambient air limits are +32 °F (0 °C) to +131 °F (+55 °C). The unit is filterless, uses a condensate evaporator and is rated under 70 dB(A).

Startup self-diagnostics, LED fault indication and a door contact for power-down are built in; the gasket, mounting kit, template and condensate drain hose with clamp are included.
