Built for outdoor cabinets on 230 V 50/60 Hz power, the DTS3161A230N3LG provides 4,100 BTU/h (1,200 W) of side-mounted closed-loop cooling with a power consumption of 795 W. Its IP56, NEMA 3R, 4 rated design lets integrators protect electronics in weather-exposed control enclosures without admitting outside air.

Designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface, the unit uses closed loop cooling so clean enclosure air is recirculated without ever mixing with contaminated ambient air, and it keeps maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots. The exterior is NEMA 3R/4 galvanized sheet steel with a powdercoat finish in RAL7035 light gray; an ANSI 61 gray version is available by replacing LG with GY. An expansion valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents.

DTS3161A230N3LG is rated 230 V 50/60 Hz with an operating range of 198-253 V, consumes 795 W, and draws 4.49 A running and 10 A starting, wired through a terminal block.
