Hammond DTS3141A460LG 4,100 BTU/h 460V Side-Mount NEMA 12 Air Conditioner

The DTS3141A460LG brings 4,100 BTU/h (1,200 W) of side-mounted, closed-loop cooling to indoor NEMA 12 enclosures fed from 460 V 50/60 Hz industrial distribution, drawing just 2.25 A running. It is a fit for electricians and panel shops that want to power enclosure cooling directly from the same 460 V bus that feeds the equipment inside.

Designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface, the unit uses closed loop cooling so clean enclosure air is recirculated without ever mixing with contaminated ambient air, and it keeps maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots. The exterior case is galvanized steel with a powdercoat finish in RAL7035 light gray; an ANSI 61 gray version is available by replacing LG with GY. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents.

DTS3141A460LG is rated 460 V 50/60 Hz with an operating range of 360-506 V, consumes 1200 W, and draws 2.25 A running and 15 A starting, wired through a terminal block. It carries a 400 g charge of R134a refrigerant, moves 177 CFM internally and 100 CFM externally (unrestricted), and uses a 150 g/m² filter mat. The thermostat, accessible from inside the enclosure, adjusts from +77 to +113°F (+25 to +45°C) with a factory setting of +95°F (+35°C).
