Hammond DTS3241A115LG 6,825 BTU/h 115V NEMA 12 Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTS3241A115LG is the higher-capacity 115 V model of this indoor series, rated at 6,825 BTU/h (2,000 W) at +95/+95°F (+35/+35°C) and listed in its manufacturer description as a 7,500 BTU/H NEMA 12 light gray unit. It side-mounts on larger control enclosures where a 115 V 60 Hz circuit is what is available, moving 450 CFM on both the internal and external air circuits.

Designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface, the unit uses closed loop cooling so clean enclosure air is recirculated without ever mixing with contaminated ambient air, and it keeps maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots. The exterior case is galvanized steel with a powdercoat finish in RAL7035 light gray; an ANSI 61 gray version is available by replacing LG with GY. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents.

DTS3241A115LG is rated 115 V 60 Hz with an operating range of 103-127 V, consumes 1680 W, and draws 11.6 A running and 53 A starting, wired through a terminal block. It carries a 700 g charge of R134a refrigerant, moves 450 CFM internally and 450 CFM externally (unrestricted), and uses a 150 g/m² filter mat.
