Hammond DTFK1AC150 230 CFM 6 in Intake Fan Kit With Thermostat

The DTFK1AC150 is a thermostat-controlled intake fan kit from the DTFK Series, built to provide intelligent cooling for rack cabinets and industrial enclosures by running only when additional airflow is actually needed. It is aimed at integrators, panel builders and facilities teams who need to hold safe internal temperatures in networking, telecommunications, industrial automation and edge computing equipment without a fan that runs continuously.

This version is configured as an intake fan with a 6.00 in (152 mm) fan operating on 115 VAC, moving up to 230 CFM unimpeded with a noise rating of 70 dB (measured at 12 in to 24 in from the source). An integrated adjustable thermostat switches the fan on as enclosure temperature rises and off once the setpoint is restored, and is adjustable from 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). Reducing continuous fan operation helps decrease noise, energy consumption and fan wear.

Per the drawing, the DTFK1AC150 housing measures 215.00 mm [8.465 in] by 213.00 mm [8.386 in] with a 57.76 mm [2.274 in] section dimension and a ø150.75 mm [5.935 in] fan opening. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The complete kit includes the fan, integrated thermostat, a 6-foot (72.00 in / 1829 mm) power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug, a chrome safety grill and mounting hardware.

Installation uses the supplied inner mounting panel and mounting hardware, with the fan housing assembled to a PFA40000 filter housing (not included) as shown in the assembly drawing; the kit is also listed as NWMFH1 compatible. Fan components are UL 507 recognized and CSA certified. The DTFK1AC150 is TAA compliant, RoHS compliant and REACH compliant, and is manufactured in North America.
