The DK48GY is a DK Series drip shield kit for wall-mount enclosures 48.00 in (1219 mm) wide. Made from 14 gauge mild steel painted gray, it mounts across the top of the enclosure to protect the door from dripping water and settling dust, which makes it a practical add-on for electricians and plant maintenance teams installing panels under pipes, ledges or in dusty areas.
The kit installs easily on Type 12, 4 and 4X wall-mount enclosures using the stainless steel bolts and sealing washers included in the kit. It is designed not to interfere with door clamps and maintains the enclosure rating. The manufacturer description lists it as a drip shield kit for N4 and 4X enclosures.
