The DC4R4442F is a 44U four-post open frame rack kit with a fixed 42 in (1,067 mm) mounting depth, built for data rooms, network closets and homelab installations where servers and other deep rack equipment need support at four mounting points. Unlike the adjustable-depth members of the DC4R Series, this part number is supplied at a set 42 in front-to-rear mounting depth, so equipment rails and deep chassis land on a known dimension every time.
Construction is 12-gauge welded steel rack rails with 1/4 in steel base angles, rated for a 2,000 lb static load. The frame is finished in a smooth RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, RoHS and REACH compliant, and the rack is made from mild steel in Canada. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which helps support government procurement requirements.
Overall dimensions are 83.13 in (2,111 mm) high by 20.50 in (521 mm) wide by 42.00 in (1,067 mm) deep, with 44U of EIA-310-D compliant square-hole mounting space measuring 77.00 in (1,956 mm) high and 19.00 in (483 mm) wide. The usable front opening is 17.75 in (451 mm). Base feet extending outwards add approximately 12 in of overall depth, giving a 54.00 in (1,372 mm) footprint depth with feet out.

Optional solid side panel DC4R4448SP, additional 44U rail pairs (DC4RPR44), extra lacing bars (DC4RSHCM) and locking casters are available.
