The CS88EXT4 extends an 8 x 8 Type 1 screw cover junction box by 4 in. Electrical contractors use it when an installed CS, CSG, CSKO or CSKOG Series box needs extra depth.
It measures 8 in x 8 in x 4 in (203 mm x 203 mm x 102 mm); the drawing gives an overall outside size of 8.06 in x 8.06 in. The ring is painted steel in ANSI 61 gray. If an unpainted galvanized finish is needed, the matching part is the CSG88EXT4.
To install, remove the box cover, fix the ring to the box using the cover screws, and attach the cover to the ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes allow quick assembly.
