The CS66EXT4 is a 6 x 6 junction box extender ring that adds 4 in of depth to a Type 1 screw cover junction box. It is intended for electricians who need more room inside an installed CS, CSG, CSKO or CSKOG Series box for wiring or components.
The ring measures 6 in x 6 in x 4 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 102 mm), with the drawing showing an overall outside size of 6.06 in x 6.06 in. It is made of painted steel finished in ANSI 61 gray; the same size is also offered in unpainted galvanized steel as the CSG66EXT4.
Installation is simple: remove the box cover, fix the extender ring to the box using the cover screws, then attach the cover to the extender ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes speed up assembly.
