Hammond CN4SB604 600A 4-Wire Type 4/3R Steel Splitter Box, 30x24x7

The CN4SB604 is a 600/600 A CU/AL, 4-wire splitter box and the largest 4-wire model in the CN4SB series of Type 4/3R mild steel splitter boxes. It is built for contractors splitting a 600 A, 4-wire service, the series maximum: distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max with 75° C conductor ampacity permitted.

Series table dimensions are 30.00 in high by 24.00 in wide by 7.00 in deep (762 x 610 x 178 mm). The part page lists a nominal size of 30 x 24 x 8 in, and the drawing shows 7.87 in overall depth. The drawing gives a 29.97 x 23.97 in door, a 28.49 x 22.36 in door opening, a 28.17 x 22.17 in inner panel, and Ø0.50 in wall mounting holes on 28.50 x 22.50 in centres.

The enclosure and cover are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating, and the included inner panel is white, mounted on collar studs. The CN4SB604 is CSA Type 3R, 12, 4 and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. It includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers, takes optional grounding kit CGK600, and ships boxed at 77 lbs (34.93 kg).
