Hammond CN4SB103 125A 3-Wire Type 4/3R Steel Splitter Box, 15x10x5

The CN4SB103 is a 3-wire splitter box rated 125/120 A CU/AL, part of the CN4SB series of Type 4/3R mild steel splitter boxes with a hinged door and quarter turn latching. It gives electricians a taller body than the 70 A size for splitting a 3-wire feed into branch conductors. The series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted.

The series table lists the enclosure at 15.00 x 10.00 x 5.00 in (381 x 254 x 127 mm) H x W x D. The part page gives a nominal size of 15 x 10 x 6 in, and the drawing shows 5.85 in overall depth. Drawing dimensions include a 14.97 x 9.97 in door, a 13.52 x 8.39 in door opening, a 13.17 x 8.17 in inner panel and Ø0.50 in wall mounting holes on 13.50 x 8.50 in centres.

The CN4SB103 is CSA Type 3R, 12, 4 and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. It includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers, takes optional grounding kit CGK125, and ships boxed at 15 lbs (6.80 kg).
