The CMC363612 is a double-door 36 x 36 x 12 inch metering cabinet that adds depth and panel area over the 30-inch model. Part of Hammond's CMC Series of Type 1 mild steel metering cabinets, it is designed for indoor housing of metering transformers and suits electrical contractors and utility-side installers building out indoor service and metering equipment.
The cabinet measures 36 in x 36 in x 12 in (914 mm x 914 mm x 305 mm) H x W x D. The series is formed and spot welded from 14 or 16 gauge steel with formed edges. This model uses a double hinged door pair with hasp and quarter-turn closure; the part drawing shows a door height of 36.39 in.
Inside is a removable inner panel measuring 32.00 in (813 mm) H x 32.00 in (813 mm) W, finished in white powder coating, while the enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray inside and out. Two cutouts in the top of the cabinet are provided with metering plates included.
