Hammond CMC271310 27x13x10 in Single-Door NEMA 1 Metering Cabinet

The CMC271310 is a tall, narrow single-door 27 x 13 x 10 inch metering cabinet and the one CMC size supplied without top cutouts or metering plates. Part of Hammond's CMC Series of Type 1 mild steel metering cabinets, it is designed for indoor housing of metering transformers and suits electrical contractors and utility-side installers building out indoor service and metering equipment.

The cabinet measures 27 in x 13 in x 10 in (686 mm x 330 mm x 254 mm) H x W x D. The series is formed and spot welded from 14 or 16 gauge steel with formed edges. This model uses a single hinged door with hasp closure; the part drawing shows a door height of 27.35 in and a door width of 13.31 in.

Inside is a removable inner panel measuring 23.00 in (584 mm) H x 9.00 in (229 mm) W, finished in white powder coating, while the enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray inside and out. Unlike the other CMC sizes, this model has no cutouts in the top and no metering plates, so conduit entry is left to the installer.

The CMC271310 is CSA Type 1 and complies with NEMA Type 1 and IEC 60529 IP20. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, has a shipping weight of 38 lbs (17.24 kg) and ships in a box.
