Hammond CLPKIT1032-100 100-Piece 10-32 Rack Screw and Clip Nut Kit

CLPKIT1032-100 is a 100-piece rack mounting hardware kit containing 100 zinc-plated 10-32 clip nuts and 100 black 10-32 rack screws with installed nylon washers, supplied in a plastic jar. It is intended for installers, OEMs, maintenance departments and service technicians who mount equipment on non-threaded rack rails and want screws and matching nuts in one package.

The clip nuts snap onto non-threaded round-hole rack rails to create secure threaded 10-32 mounting points. They are stamped SAE 1050-1065 steel, austempered to HRC 38-42, finished in zinc plate CR3, marked "10-32" on the bottom, and recommended for use with 0.06"-0.08" panel thickness. Each nut measures 14.7 mm long by 12.7 mm wide.

The rack screws are 10-32 UNF-2A Quadrex truss head screws in 1022 low carbon steel with a black oxide finish, through hardened to RC 25-38 per ASME B18.6.3. The Quadrex #2R Type-III square recess head accepts a #2 Phillips or square driver. A black nylon 6/6 flat washer (0.429"-0.445" outside diameter, 0.024"-0.040" thick) remains captive and free to rotate, helping protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates during installation.

Because CLPKIT1032-100 pairs equal quantities of screws and clip nuts, there is no need to order the two items separately, which simplifies purchasing and reduces installation delays. The plastic jar keeps hardware organized on a bench, in a stockroom or in a service vehicle.
