Hammond CLPKIT1032-25 25-Pack 10-32 Rack Screw and Clip Nut Kit

CLPKIT1032-25 is a 25-piece rack mounting hardware kit that pairs 25 black 10-32 rack screws with 25 matching zinc-plated clip nuts, supplied in a plastic jar. It is intended for installers, OEMs, maintenance departments and service technicians mounting equipment on non-threaded rack rails, where a threaded mounting point has to be created before the equipment can be fastened.

The clip nuts snap onto non-threaded round-hole rack rails to create secure 10-32 threaded mounting points. They are stamped 10-32 on the bottom and made from SAE 1050-1065 steel, austempered to HRC 38-42 with a zinc plated CR3 finish, and are recommended for use with 0.06"-0.08" panel thickness. The matching 10-32 UNF-2A truss head screws are 1022 low carbon steel with a black oxide finish, through hardened to RC 25-38 per ASME B18.6.3, with a Quadrex #2R Type-III square recess that also accepts a #2 Phillips driver.

Each screw carries a captive black nylon 6/6 flat washer that remains free to rotate, helping protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates during installation. Screw length is 0.720"-0.750" with a head diameter of 0.425"-0.448"; the washer outside diameter is 0.429"-0.445" and thickness 0.024"-0.040".

Because equal quantities of screws and clip nuts are included, CLPKIT1032-25 removes the need to order the two items separately. The plastic jar keeps hardware organized on service vehicles and in maintenance stores. Shipping weight is 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg).
