Hammond CLPKIT1032-10 10-Piece 10-32 Rack Screw & Clip Nut Kit

CLPKIT1032-10 is a 10-piece rack mounting hardware kit containing 10 of each item: 10-32 rack screws and matching clip nuts. It is intended for IT, AV, telecom and industrial installers who mount equipment on non-threaded rack rails and want screws and nuts supplied together in one package rather than sourced separately.

The kit includes black 10-32 rack screws, 0.625" length, with captive nylon washers that help protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates during installation. The screw is a 10-32 Quadrex truss head type in 1022 low carbon steel with a black oxide finish and 10-32 UNF-2A thread (3A after plating), through hardened to RC 25-38 per ASME B18.6.3. The black nylon 6/6 flat washer remains captive and free to rotate, with a 0.203" reference inside diameter and 0.429"-0.445" outside diameter.

The zinc-plated clip nuts (1421NP style) snap onto non-threaded round-hole rack rails to create secure threaded 10-32 mounting points. They are made from SAE 1050-1065 steel, austempered to HRC 38-42, finished in zinc plated CR3, stamped 10-32 on the bottom, and are recommended for use with .06"-.08" panel thickness.

CLPKIT1032-10 ships in a clamshell package and weighs 0.2 lbs (0.09 kg). Larger plastic jar quantities of 25, 50 and 100 of each are offered within the same series, and an 8-32 top and bottom panel hardware kit is also available for compatible Hammond rack accessories. This part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA compliant, and made in Canada.
