Hammond CGH01 Six-Point Baying & Joining Kit for C2 Cabinets

The CGH01 is a cabinet baying and joining kit designed to connect two adjacent Hammond C2 or C2RR rack cabinets into a single, rigid lineup. It is aimed at data center and server room builders, telecom and networking installers, industrial controls teams, and AV or broadcast integrators who need multiple cabinets to behave as one unified structure rather than as separate standing units.

Steel joining hardware fastens the cabinets together at six locations along the vertical frame. That six-point connection increases overall stability, reduces cabinet movement while heavy rack-mounted equipment is being installed or serviced, and helps hold alignment across a multi-bay row for a cleaner, more professional appearance. Because the kit is made specifically for the C2 and C2RR cabinet series, no custom fabrication is required to expand an existing row.

Each CGH01 kit ships as a hardware assembly with the fasteners needed for the job. The series documentation lists six 1/4-20 hex bolts (0.75" length, 3/4" hex), twelve hex nuts (1.625" length) and twelve 1/4" split lock washers; the part drawing lists the assembly as six hex spacers, twelve 1/4" split lock washers and twelve 1/4-20 x 3/4 hex bolts. Shipping weight is 1 lb (0.45 kg).

CGH01 is manufactured in Canada, is USMCA compliant, TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and classified EAR99. Typical uses include joining two C2 or C2RR cabinets, creating continuous rows of rack cabinets, and increasing cabinet stability in high-density installations.
