Hammond CDF1970SLG1 40U Solid Steel Cabinet Door, Light Gray

CDF1970SLG1 is a 40U solid front door from the CDF Series, made exclusively for use with the C2 Cabinet Series. It is intended for IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to close off a C2 frame for a cleaner appearance, added security and controlled access to mounted equipment.

The door is constructed in 16-gauge steel and finished in textured RAL 7035 light gray powder coat. A matching black version of the same size is offered as CDF1970SBK1. The powder coat finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Material is mild steel and the part is manufactured in North America.

Per the part drawing, the door measures 19.33 in (491 mm) wide by 69.75 in (1772 mm) high and is listed as a C2 solid flush door 19 x 70. It is specified for use with a C2 cabinet of 40U / 70.00 in (1778 mm) height. Shipping weight is 51 lbs (23.13 kg).

Installation is straightforward: the door installs into C2 Series cabinets using the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door. CDF1970SLG1 ships with a formed plastic handle, a quarter-turn lock with a .531 in high cam, and two 1/4 in x 4-1/2 in long hinge pins to mount on the cabinet.
