Hammond CDF1970SBK1 40U Solid Steel Door for C2 Series Cabinets

The CDF1970SBK1 is a 40U solid front door from the CDF Series, made exclusively for use with the Hammond C2 Cabinet Series. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to fully enclose a C2 frame for a clean, closed-front appearance and controlled access to mounted equipment.

The door is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat. The finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, making it suited to office, classroom and other occupied-space installations. The panel face is solid, with no louvers, perforation or window.

Overall dimensions are 69.75 in (1772 mm) high by 19.33 in (491 mm) wide, and the door is specified for use with a C2 cabinet of 40U / 70.00 in (1778 mm) height. Shipping weight is 47 lbs (21.32 kg). The manufacturer's nominal description lists the part as a 40U, 23 in wide C2 solid door.

Installation uses the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door, so CDF1970SBK1 drops into a C2 Series cabinet without loose hardware trays. Each door ships with a formed black plastic handle, a quarter-turn lock complete with a .531 in high cam (DWS220-9208) and two 1/4 in x 4-1/2 in long hinge pins to mount on the cabinet.
