Hammond CCSTN Non-Locking 3.5 in Swivel Caster Pair, 250 lb Each

CCSTN is a pair of non-locking low-profile swivel casters designed to make C2 and C3 cabinets mobile. It suits IT and AV integrators, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to roll a populated enclosure into place, reposition it for service access, or move equipment between rooms without lifting the frame. The set ships as two casters; combine it with a locking pair when braking is required at the install location.

Each caster uses a zinc plated ball bearing pivot with a grey composite wheel measuring 3.50 in (89 mm) in diameter, and a heavy duty bracket for outside mounting to the cabinet frame. Mounting hardware is included, with each caster assembly consisting of one C2 caster bracket, one 3.5 in swivel caster and four 1/4-20 x 5/8 in round head zinc plated screws. The hole mounting pattern is 1.75 in (44 mm) wide by 3.00 in (76 mm) deep.

Installed, CCSTN adds 4.71 in (120 mm) to the overall height of the cabinet, and the swivel radius is R 2.90 in (74 mm), which should be allowed for when planning aisle clearance and footprint. Weight capacity is 250 lb per caster, giving 500 lbs (227 kg) for a set of two and up to 1,000 lbs (453 kg) when four casters are installed.
