The CCSTL is a low-profile locking cabinet caster set, sold in pairs, for making Hammond C2 and C3 server and network cabinets mobile. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to roll a loaded enclosure into position and then lock it in place. Each caster is rated for 250 lb, giving 500 lbs (227 kg) per two-caster set and up to 1,000 lbs (453 kg) when four casters are installed.
Each caster in the CCSTL set uses a zinc plated ball bearing swivel pivot with a grey composite wheel measuring 3.50 in (89 mm) in diameter, and is supplied with a painted black textured C2 caster bracket. The heavy duty bracket mounts to the outside of the cabinet frame using a 1.75 in (44 mm) wide by 3.00 in (76 mm) deep hole pattern, and the required hardware is included: one C2 caster bracket, one locking swivel caster and four 1/4-20 x 5/8 in round head zinc plated screws per caster.
Installed, the assembly adds 4.71 in (120 mm) to the overall height of the cabinet and needs a swivel radius of R 4.75 in (121 mm) for clearance. Note that casters will not work when frames are ganged together, so plan for free-standing cabinets. This low-profile design is the current (new design) version of the CCST series.
