Hammond CBB42 24U Copper Ground Busbar for C2 Cabinets

The CBB42 is a ground busbar designed for bonding and grounding inside Hammond C2 Series cabinets. It gives IT, data centre and AV integrators, electricians and facilities teams a single common bonding point where equipment grounding conductors, shelf and panel bonds, and rack-mounted gear can be terminated within the enclosure.

The busbar is a full length copper strip measuring 0.13" x 0.63" in section, supplied at an overall height of 42.00 in (1067 mm) for a mounting height of 24U. Width is 0.63 in (16 mm) and thickness is 0.13 in (3 mm). The drawing shows five 0.31 in diameter holes along the strip for mounting and termination hardware, with the mid-point of the bar at 21.00 in.

CBB42 includes hardware for mounting on rack frame side struts, so it mounts vertically inside the cabinet frame without consuming usable rack-mount space at the front. It is intended for use with the C2 Series only, and this length corresponds to the C2F1942... frame.
