Hammond CAGNUTM6-100 M6 Square Hole Rack Cage Nuts, 100-Pack

CAGNUTM6-100 is a 100-piece package of M6 cage nuts for square-hole rack rails, supplied in a plastic jar. It is intended for IT and data center technicians, AV and network integrators, electricians and facilities teams who need to replace missing or damaged rack hardware, expand an existing rack, or keep a stocked supply of standard M6 mounting hardware on hand.

Each cage nut is formed from SAE 1050-1065 spring steel and heat treated by austempering to 40-45 R/C, giving consistent spring tension so the nut stays retained in the rail during equipment installation. The zinc-plated finish adds corrosion resistance for long-term reliability in telecom rooms, industrial network cabinets and data center environments.

The rear-loading design snaps into standard 0.375 in (9.54 mm) square holes, making CAGNUTM6-100 compatible with Hammond cabinets and most industry-standard square-hole racks. The nut is rated for panel thicknesses from 0.064 in to 0.105 in. Per the M6 drawing (NTS18096), overall dimensions are 9.7 mm (A) x 13.2 mm (B) x 13.7 mm (C), with 3.3 mm (D) and 6.4 mm (E) detail dimensions.
