Hammond CAGKIT1224-100 100-Piece 12-24 Rack Screw and Cage Nut Kit

CAGKIT1224-100 is a 100-piece rack mounting hardware kit that pairs 12-24 rack screws with matching cage nuts for installing equipment in square-hole rack rails. It is aimed at IT and network installers, data center technicians, AV integrators and industrial controls teams who need complete, ready-to-use mounting hardware for servers, switches, patch panels, PDUs, UPS systems and other standard rack-mounted devices.

The kit contains 100 of each component: black rack screws with installed (captive) nylon washers and zinc-plated cage nuts. The captive nylon washers help protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates from scratches, while self-guiding pilot point screws help align equipment quickly and reduce cross-threading during installation. Screws are heat-treated steel and the cage nuts are austempered spring steel, providing reliable strength for IT, networking, telecommunications and industrial applications.

The cage nuts fit standard 3/8-inch (9.54 mm) square-hole rack rails, making them compatible with Hammond cabinets and most industry-standard square-hole racks. Because screws and nuts ship together in equal quantities, there is no need to order the two components separately or match thread sizes after the fact. CAGKIT1224-100 is supplied in a plastic jar, which keeps loose hardware contained on a bench, in a tool bag or in a field service vehicle.
