C4SP4236VBK1 is a pair of vented side panels for the Hammond C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 24U C4 frames with a 36.00 in (914 mm) depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builders who are configuring a C4 cabinet from individual frames, rails, doors and panels rather than buying a pre-assembled unit. The vented perforation pattern suits side panels used for thermal induction, while the enclosed sides keep equipment contained and tidy.

Construction follows the C4 platform: a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, supporting the platform's 3000 lb UL2416 capacity when assembled as a complete cabinet by Hammond. This part is made from mild steel and is supplied painted black textured. The platform's powder coat finishes are GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Each panel carries a black plastic handle and four slotted 1/4 turn latches for tool-light removal, plus a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so the panel can be tied into the cabinet's grounding and bonding provisions. Individual components are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled as a complete cabinet to meet certification requirements; assembled C4 cabinets are seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE) when assembled by Hammond.
