Hammond C4RR244242ABK 24U Assembled Server Cabinet, 3,000 lb Rated

The C4RR244242ABK is a pre-configured, fully assembled 24U server rack cabinet built on Hammond's modular C4 platform. It is aimed at IT and data center teams, integrators and facilities groups that need a standardized half-height cabinet for servers, switches, storage and power equipment without specifying every component individually.

The cabinet uses a 14-gauge welded steel frame with reinforced 12-gauge corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and side panels, finished in textured RAL 9005 black powder coat. It is UL Listed 2416 (UL File # E474597) with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating, and is seismic rated to a 1,200 lb (544 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2015, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10 when secured with a seismic bolt-down kit such as C4K-Z4.

Overall dimensions including doors are 48.58 in high x 24.00 in wide x 43.00 in deep (1234 x 610 x 1092 mm), with a nominal 42 in depth and 228 lb (103.42 kg) shipping weight. Usable mounting space is 24U: 42.00 in high, 19.00 in wide and 40.00 in deep. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-compliant square-hole 12-gauge mounting rails are factory installed, along with a starter pack of CAGKIT1032-25 screws and cage nuts.

C4RR244242ABK ships with a vented front door and a vented split/barn rear door at 79% open area, both with locking swing-handles, two removable side panels with 1/4-turn latches, and a top panel with four 3.66 in (93 mm) cable entries with plugs plus two fan knockouts with brushed cable entry. Nylon leveling feet with 5/16-18 threads are factory installed, and caster mounting points, lagging points and ganging knockouts are provided. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, RoHS and REACH compliant, and meets PCI DSS physical security requirements.
