The C4F307736BK1 is a 44U open cabinet frame from the C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized 83.5 in x 30 in W x 36 in D. It is the structural starting point for data center, enterprise IT, network and colocation builds where the cabinet needs to be configured from frames, rails, doors, side panels, top panels and accessories rather than bought pre-assembled. Note that this part is the frame only — mounting rails are not included.
Construction is welded mild steel: a 14-gauge cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat. When assembled by the manufacturer as a complete cabinet, the platform is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating (UL file E474597) and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load against IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards. Individual components, including this frame on its own, are not UL2416 or seismic rated independently.
The 30 in wide frame provides extra generous cabling space and supports up to four optional vertical cable managers. Usable mounting height is 77.06 in (44U) with 34.00 in of usable mounting depth, and mounting depth is infinitely adjustable via C-channel struts. Overall height includes the four 5/16-18 leveling feet; four 1/2-13 threads accept optional eye-bolts, and casters are available as an option. The top carries four 3.50 in diameter cable entry holes with plugs included, plus an interchangeable top panel opening and an interchangeable bottom panel opening.
Compatible rail pairs for C4F307736BK1 include 19 in square-hole (C4PR77SZPL) or tapped 10-32 (C4PR77TZPL), and 23 in square-hole (C4PR7723SZPL) or tapped 10-32 (C4PR7723TZPL). The frame is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships at 148 lbs.
