Hammond C4D2442BBK1 24U Vented Split Barn Door, 79% Perforated

The C4D2442BBK1 is a 24U vented split "barn" style door for Hammond C4 Series cabinets built on a 24.00 in (610 mm) width. It is a surface door with a locking swinghandle, intended for IT, AV and facilities teams who need high-airflow access to a cabinet in tight aisles or against a wall, where two narrow leaves are easier to swing than a single full-width door.

Construction is 16-gauge steel finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat. The door face is 79% perforated for ventilation, and the assembly ships with the hardware shown on the part drawing: a main split-door leaf, a secondary leaf, three left-hand and three right-hand 180-degree opening hinges, an H1 lock-rod assembly for 24U, an FH333 swing handle key lock, and two barn door stop brackets. C4 Series doors install into the cabinet using the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door.

Drawing dimensions for C4D2442BBK1 give an overall door height of 41.75 in (1060 mm) with a 36.75 in (933 mm) reference height, a 20.37 in (517 mm) width dimension, and leaf widths of 5.62 in (143 mm) and 5.63 in (143 mm). Match the door to a 24U C4 cabinet of 24.00 in (610 mm) width as listed in the series ordering table.

The door is made from mild steel, manufactured in North America, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant with TAA-compliant status for GSA Schedule purchasing. The textured black paint finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Perforated doors on both the front and back of a cabinet are suggested for most server applications.
