Hammond C3RMC303010 30x30x10 in Type 3R Double Door Meter Cabinet

The C3RMC303010 is a Type 3R mild steel metering cabinet from the C3RMC Series, measuring 30 in x 30 in x 10 in (762 mm x 762 mm x 254 mm) with two interchangeable doors. It is designed for outdoor housing of metering transformers, serving utilities contractors, electricians and facilities teams that need a lockable steel cabinet for metering equipment.

The cabinet is formed and seam welded from 14 or 16 gauge steel, with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A padlockable "L" style handle operates a 3 point latch system, hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless steel pins, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. The doors may be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable.

It is the smallest double-door size in the series; the two doors (each about 14.88 in wide on the drawing) open the full 30 in width without needing a wide swing clearance. A removable inner panel is included, measuring 28.17 x 28.17 in and finished in white powder coating, and it mounts on collar studs. The drawing shows a door opening 28.49 in wide, a door height of 29.97 in and an overall depth of 10.84 in. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure.

The cabinet is CSA Approved, Type 12 or 3R; to meet 3R, a drain hole must be drilled in the bottom of the enclosure. It complies with NEMA Type 12 or 3R and IEC 60529 IP54 or IP24, is phosphatized and finished in recoatable ANSI 61 smooth gray powder inside and out, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships in a box at 92 lbs (41.73 kg).
