Hammond C3RMC202010 20x20x10 in Type 3R Single Door Meter Cabinet

The C3RMC202010 is a Type 3R mild steel metering cabinet from the C3RMC Series, measuring 20 in x 20 in x 10 in (508 mm x 508 mm x 254 mm) with a single door. It is designed for outdoor housing of metering transformers, serving utilities contractors, electricians and facilities teams that need a lockable steel cabinet for metering equipment.

The cabinet is formed and seam welded from 14 or 16 gauge steel, with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A padlockable "L" style handle operates a 3 point latch system, hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless steel pins, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. Per the series specification, doors may be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable.

Its square 20 x 20 in single-door body is the most compact meter cabinet in the C3RMC ordering table. A removable inner panel is included, measuring 18.17 x 18.17 in and finished in white powder coating, and it mounts on collar studs. The drawing shows a door opening 18.51 in wide, a door height of 19.97 in and an overall depth of 10.84 in. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure.

The cabinet is CSA Approved, Type 12 or 3R; to meet 3R, a drain hole must be drilled in the bottom of the enclosure. It complies with NEMA Type 12 or 3R and IEC 60529 IP54 or IP24, is phosphatized and finished in recoatable ANSI 61 smooth gray powder inside and out, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships in a box at 42 lbs (19.05 kg).
