Hammond C2T2423SBK1 25 x 15 in Solid Steel Cabinet Top Panel, Black

The C2T2423SBK1 is a solid rack cabinet top panel with overall dimensions of 25.00 in (635 mm) wide by 15.00 in (381 mm) deep, finished in painted black textured powder coat. It is part of the C2TS Series of solid top panels designed to seal the top of a rack cabinet and support controlled airflow environments, making it a practical choice for data center teams, IT and network integrators, and industrial users who need to keep air paths and contaminants under control.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel for durable enclosure protection and long-term reliability. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance. The panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which helps satisfy government procurement requirements.

Because it is a solid panel rather than a vented or cable-entry top, C2T2423SBK1 prevents air leakage and blocks dust, debris and contaminants from entering the cabinet from above. That makes it well suited to hot aisle / cold aisle containment strategies, front-to-rear airflow patterns, and installations where cabling is routed through rear or bottom pathways instead of overhead.

Everything needed for installation ships in the box: one top panel, six 8-32 clip nuts (black oxide finish) and six 8-32 x 0.5 in zinc-plated machine screws, replaceable as kit CLPKIT832-6. Assembly instructions (BUL86698) cover the clip-nut and screw mounting method.
