It carries four 4.70 in (119 mm) long-life ball bearing AC fans and an adjustable thermostat, so the fans run only when the cabinet interior reaches the set point. It suits IT, network, telecom, AV and broadcast teams who need to add or upgrade cooling on an existing cabinet rather than replace it.
Construction is 14-gauge steel with a painted top; the part is finished in RAL9005 black powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The panel measures 28.250 in (717.55 mm) by 20.000 in (508.00 mm) and is the 36 in depth version of the series, sized for 23.00 in wide by 36.00 in deep C2 cabinets. Shipping weight is 25 lbs (11.34 kg).
Electrically, the assembly is rated 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.77 Amps and terminates in a 6 ft power cord. Free-flow air delivery is 400 CFM at 64 dB, and the adjustable thermostat range is 32°F to 140°F. The fan top is cURus Recognized to UL507 and CSA C22.2 No. 113, is TAA-compliant and is manufactured in Canada. This configuration does not include cable entry grommets; other C2TF Series tops offer cable entry or open cutouts.
Mounting hardware is included: six 8-32 x 1/2 in round-head screws and six speed nuts (CLPKIT832-6). Installation places U-clip nuts on the cabinet frame, sets the C2T1936F4TBK1 panel on top and tightens the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. The panel is designed for use with C2, C2RR, C4, C4RR_A, C4RR_S, C4RR_D, H1, RCK or CLC cabinet series; H1 cabinets require the H1TC Series for mounting.
