Hammond C2F194936BK1 28U Open Frame Rack Cabinet, 23in Wide 36in Deep

The C2F194936BK1 is a 28U open frame from the Hammond C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, supplied as a frame only with no mounting rails. It is intended for AV integrators, telecom and lab technicians, and OEM or industrial engineers who want to build a cabinet from selected frames, rails, panels, doors and accessories rather than buy a fixed configuration.

The frame is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. Within the C2 Series, the cabinet frame uses 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets with 16-gauge doors and panels, and the platform is rated for a 1500 lb load capacity. The series finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and grounding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels to support bonding.

Overall dimensions are 23.00 in (584 mm) wide by 36.00 in (914 mm) deep, with an overall height listed as 57.16 in (1452 mm) in the series ordering table and a nominal size of 56.31 in (1430 mm) on the part data and drawing. Usable mounting height is 49.06 in (1246 mm), equal to 28U, with usable mounting depth of 34.00 in (864 mm) (34.34 in / 872 mm shown on the drawing). Shipping weight is 108 lbs (48.99 kg).

Order 19" rack rails separately as pairs: CCR49TZPL for tapped 10-32 rails or CPR49SZPL for square hole rails. The C2 platform uses C-channel struts for infinite-depth rail adjustment, and interchangeable top and bottom panels (solid, vented, fan or cable entry) plus optional doors and side panels let you tailor airflow, access and security. The base of C2F194936BK1 includes 5/16-18 threaded leveling foot points, 1/4-20 caster hardware provisions and 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points.
