BONDSCREW-50 is a 50-piece plastic jar of thread-forming bonding screws used to create a dependable electrical bond between grounding conductors and painted rack cabinets, electrical enclosures and equipment frames. The larger pack size suits OEM production, panel shops and maintenance crews who install grounding hardware regularly.
Each screw is a 1/4-20 steel machine screw with an included Type 23 thread-cutting tip. The tip forms its own threads while cutting through paint as the screw is driven, ensuring metal-to-metal contact while minimizing metal debris. This eliminates the need to manually scrape or grind paint before attaching bonding wires, reducing installation time.
The screw measures 0.5" long with a ø 0.186 diameter body and a 3/8 socket hex/slotted head, so it can be installed with either a socket or a flat-blade screwdriver in the field. The green zinc-plated finish provides corrosion resistance and makes the bonding point easy to identify during inspections.
BONDSCREW-50 is suited to securing bonding wires, grounding jumpers and earthing conductors in rack cabinets, industrial enclosures and control panels, including bonding jumpers between doors, panels and cabinet frames.
