Hammond 515-0950 11.7x7.7 in Vented Sloped Console, 15 Degree

The 515-0950 is a vented sloped console enclosure from the 500-515-519 Series, built for engineers and panel builders who need a desktop housing with an angled control surface for switches, displays, meters and connectors. Its 15 degree slope presents the front panel toward the operator while the sides carry vertical rows of ventilation to help shed heat from the electronics inside.

Construction pairs an 18 ga. steel base (0.05" steel case) with an easy-to-machine 0.064" aluminum top panel, and this size uses an aluminum rear surface. The unit ships pre-assembled in a two tone grey powder paint finish: the base is dark satin grey and the slope top is smooth light grey. It is rated IP30 and is RoHS and REACH compliant.

This is the widest 15 degree console in the series table: 11.70 in (297 mm) wide by 7.70 in (196 mm) deep, with a 2.13 in (54 mm) rear height stepping down to 1.20 in (30 mm) at the front. The drawing shows an overall length of 300.51 mm [11.83 in] and depth of 200.00 mm [7.87 in]. Shipping weight is 2.46 lbs (1.12 kg).
