Hammond 2UD606212FFTC 60x62x12in Type 12 Two-Door Floormount Disconnect

The Hammond 2UD606212FFTC is a Type 12 mild steel two-door floormount disconnect enclosure (hinge door with handle, flange with multi-vendor cutout) supplied with an inner panel. Control panel builders, OEM engineers and facilities electricians use it to house flange mounted disconnect switches and circuit breakers at floor level. It keeps the 60.13 in height and 12.13 in depth but widens the body to 62.00 in, accommodating a square 56.00 x 56.00 in inner panel.

Overall enclosure size is 60.13 in H x 62.00 in W x 12.13 in D (1527 x 1575 x 308 mm), raised on 15 in floor stands that are welded to the enclosure. The formed 10 gauge steel inner panel is 56.00 x 56.00 in (1422 x 1422 mm) in white powder coating on collar studs with panel supports, and the drawing shows 11.38 in of usable depth with a 27.85 in opening at each door. Shipping weight is 678 lbs (307.54 kg), packed on a skid.

The body is 10 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating. A flange trough collar (FTC) around the door opening excludes liquids and contaminants and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. Removable doors ride on heavy duty lift-off hinges, a heavy duty three point latch with roller ends eases closing, and the center post removes for panel installation.

The right hand door is the master door, with screw defeater and padlock hasp, and it interlocks mechanically so the auxiliary door cannot be opened first. One operator adaptor kit, ordered separately, adapts the universal flange cutout to ABB, Allen Bradley, C-H Westinghouse / Cutler Hammer, General Electric, Siemens or Square D mechanisms. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54 with appropriate components.
