The Hammond 2UD605012FTC is a Type 12 mild steel two-door wallmount disconnect enclosure with a hinged door, handle and flange with multi-vendor cutout, supplied with an inner panel. It is intended for control panel builders, OEM machine builders and plant electricians who need a wall-mounted housing for flange mounted disconnect switches and circuit breakers. It is the smallest enclosure in the 2UD wallmount series, pairing a 60.13 in height with a 50.00 in width.
Size is 60.13 in H x 50.00 in W x 12.13 in D (1527 x 1270 x 308 mm). The formed 10 gauge steel inner panel measures 56.00 x 44.00 in (1422 x 1118 mm), is finished in white powder coating and mounts on collar studs with panel supports. Each door opening is 21.85 in wide on the drawing, and the center post is removable for easy panel installation. Shipping weight is 556 lbs (252.20 kg) on a skid.
The body is formed from 10 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray recoatable powder coating inside and out. A flange trough collar (FTC) around the door opening excludes liquids and contaminants, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and heavy duty lifting eyes are anchored into reinforced top corners. Doors hang on heavy duty lift-off hinges and close with a heavy duty three point latching mechanism with roller ends.
The right hand door is the master door, with a screw defeater and padlock hasp, and a mechanical interlock stops the auxiliary door from being opened first. The universal flange cutout accepts ABB, Allen Bradley, C-H Westinghouse / Cutler Hammer, General Electric, Siemens and Square D operators through one operator adaptor kit, ordered separately. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 12 and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54 when appropriate components are used.
