The 2CSDC6043 is the 60" deep-depth desk cover in the S2CDC Desk Cover series for Series 2000 modular consoles. Choose it when no turret is used on top of a Deep desk: it provides a hinged, flat, sturdy desk surface for operator stations, control desks and data terminal workstations.
This part is made from 304 stainless steel, and the series is constructed of 14 gauge steel. Quarter turn latches give easy access into the flat desk top, and a gasket is shown on the part drawing.
The series ordering table lists the 2CSDC6043 at 59.75 in (1518 mm) wide (B3) by 24.03 in (610 mm) deep (C). Hammond's description gives a nominal 60 x 23.025 size, and the drawing shows 23.03 in and 23.10 in depth dimensions, a 1.25 in profile and a clear space available on the door of 57.68 x 19.64 in, noticeably deeper than the standard-depth cover.
