Hammond 2CSDC6036 60" Standard Stainless Steel Desk Cover

The 2CSDC6036 is a 60" standard-depth desk cover from the S2CDC Desk Cover series, part of the Series 2000 modular console system. It is intended for use when no turret is used on top of the desk, giving operators, control-room designers and panel builders a hinged, flat, sturdy desk surface that closes the top of a standard desk.

This version is made from 304 stainless steel. The series is constructed of 14 gauge steel, and the cover features quarter turn latches for easy access into the flat desk top, so wiring and components stored in the desk can be reached without tools. The drawing shows a gasket on the cover.

Per the series ordering table, the 2CSDC6036 measures 59.75 in (1518 mm) wide by 16.38 in (416 mm) deep; Hammond's description lists it as 60 x 16.375. The part drawing shows a clear space available on the door of 57.68 x 12.99 in, an overall side dimension of 16.45 in and a 1.25 in profile.

The cover is sized for Standard depth desks; a Deep depth version (2CSDC6043) and a RAL 7035 light gray version of this size (2CLDC6036) are also offered in the series. The part is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant and ships in a box.
