The 2CSC2048 is a 48 in wide stainless steel consolet from the Series 2000 modular console system. Designed as an economical housing for operator interface equipment, it combines a 20° sloped top for keyboards, switches, indicator lights and dials with the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel and a Type 4X rating.
Like the other 48 in and 60 in consolets, it has two outside hinged doors on the front, and the drawing shows clear space available on each door. The body, doors and lid are formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish, stainless steel hardware and continuously welded seams without knockouts or holes. Body stiffeners are used where required for strength and rigidity.
The listed size is 38 in x 48 in x 17.3 in (965 x 1,219 x 439 mm). From the ordering table: H1 30.36 in (771 mm), H2 38.03 in (966 mm), W 48.00 in (1219 mm), D 17.30 in (439 mm). It ships on a skid at 192 lbs (87.09 kg).
Ratings are UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 (File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13 (LR21001) and IEC 60529 IP66. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches secure doors and the 3 point adjustable lid. A removable bottom access panel, internal studs for an optional inner panel, a door bonding screw and an enclosure grounding stud complete the 2CSC2048.
