Hammond 2CLC2048 48" Light Gray Two-Door Sloped Steel Consolet

The 2CLC2048 is a 48 in wide consolet from the Series 2000 modular console system, finished in RAL 7035 light gray. It houses operator interface equipment behind a 20° sloped top that is well suited to keyboards, switches, indicator lights and dials, and it can serve as a stand-alone enclosure or be combined with other console units on a plinth.

At 48 in wide, this consolet has two outside hinged doors on the front rather than one, which the drawing shows with clear space available on each door. Body, doors and lid are formed 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, no knockouts or holes, and body stiffeners where required. The lid is 3 point adjustable, the sides and back are solid, and the closed bottom has a removable access panel.

Doors and lid close with slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches, with tamper resistant and locking latches offered as options. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured and a formed lip keeps out flowing liquids. The enclosure is certified to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13 (LR21001), and complies with IEC 60529 IP66. The 2CLC2048 ships on a skid, weighing 196 lbs (88.90 kg).
