For 48 inch Series 2000 bases, the 2CSBC4836 provides a 304 stainless steel top cover. This S2CBC Series part closes the base's open top whenever no terminal, desk, turret or other modular component is to be mounted on it.
The cover can be used on both single access and dual access bases. The series also lists it for use on the underside of a Standard Desk Unit, a Standard Turret and a Data Terminal, so the same part number can be stocked for several positions in a stainless console.
It is constructed of 14 gauge steel in the 304 stainless steel version, suited to consoles built from stainless Series 2000 components. Its nominal size is 1.5 x 48 x 18 in, with a width (B) of 48.00 in (1219 mm). From the drawing: 1.50 in height, 18.10 in overall depth, 44.75 in opening width and Ø0.28 in holes.
