Hammond 2CLC2036 36" Light Gray Steel Sloped Consolet, Type 4

Part 2CLC2036 is the 36 in wide light gray consolet of the Series 2000 modular console system, a sloped-front enclosure for operator interface hardware. Its 20° sloped top is designed for mounting keyboards, switches, indicator lights and dials, and the extra width over the 24 in model leaves more room for controls on the lid. The series literature gives an example of a 36 in consolet placed side by side with a 24 in base and terminal on a single 60 in plinth.

It is formed from 14 gauge steel for body, door and lid, with continuously welded seams free of knockouts or holes and a RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coat. Body stiffeners are added where required. The front has a single solid door that can be hinged from either side, and the pre-punched door profiles provide mounting options. The lid is 3 point adjustable, and the closed bottom has a removable access panel.

Listed size is 38 in x 36 in x 17.3 in (965 x 914 x 439 mm), with ordering-table dimensions H1 30.36 in (771 mm), H2 38.03 in (966 mm), W 36.00 in (914 mm) and D 17.30 in (439 mm).

Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and a bonding screw on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure support grounding. Internal studs accept an optional inner panel. The 2CLC2036 ships on a skid at 150 lbs (68.04 kg).
