Hammond 2CLC2024 24" Light Gray Steel Sloped Consolet, Type 4

The 2CLC2024 is the 24 in wide mild steel consolet in the Hammond Series 2000 modular console system. It is an economical housing for operator interface equipment, with a 20° sloped top that gives an ideal surface for keyboards, switches, indicator lights and dials. Control panel builders, OEM machine builders and plant engineers use it as a stand-alone operator station or as part of a larger console line-up.

The body, door and lid are formed 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts or holes, finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating. The enclosure has solid sides and back, a solid front door, a 3 point adjustable lid on the sloped top and a closed bottom with a removable access panel. At this width there is a single front door that can be hinged from either side. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches secure door and lid, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants.

The listed size is 38 in x 24 in x 17.3 in (965 x 610 x 439 mm); the ordering table gives H1 30.36 in (771 mm), H2 38.03 in (966 mm), W 24.00 in (610 mm) and D 17.30 in (439 mm). Internal studs accept an optional inner panel, and a bonding screw and grounding stud are provided.

The consolet is certified to UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 (UL File E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 (LR21001), and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and IEC 60529 IP66. It ships on a skid at 108 lbs (48.99 kg).
