The 2CLBC2436 is a 24 inch base cover from the S2CBC Series, an accessory for the Series 2000 Modular Console System. Series 2000 base units are built with an open top so that other console components can be stacked on them; when nothing else is going to be mounted on a base's top, this cover closes that opening.
It fits either the single access or the dual access 24 inch base. The same cover can also be used on the underside of a Standard Desk Unit, a Standard Turret and a Data Terminal, so one part number can serve several positions in a console build.
The cover is constructed of 14 gauge steel and finished in RAL 7035 light gray to match the light gray console components. It is a low-profile part, listed at a nominal 1.5 x 24 x 18 in. The drawing shows a width of 24.00 in (610 mm), a height of 1.50 in, an overall depth of 18.10 in, an opening width of 20.75 in, and Ø0.28 in holes.
