Hammond 266N48 192VA 48V CT Dual Primary Power Transformer

The 266N48 is a 192VA chassis mount power transformer rated 48V @ 4A with a center tap, or 24V @ 8A with its two secondaries in parallel. It has the 266 Series dual 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary and open style construction.

As the highest-voltage 192VA option in the 266 Series table, the 266N48 suits designs that need 48V center-tapped or a heavier 24V supply; it weighs 8 lbs (3.63 kg).

Each unit has a dual 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary (wired in parallel for 117V, in series for 234V) and dual secondaries that can be used as a center tapped secondary, connected in parallel, or used individually. The 266N48 is designed for use with all windings engaged. Primary leads are Blk, Wht, Brn and Orn; secondary leads are Red, Blu, Gry and Yel, all at least 6" long.
