The 266N12B is a 48VA open style power transformer that provides an even 12V @ 4A with a center tap, or 6V @ 8A with its secondaries in parallel. It is the 12V/6V counterpart to the 12.6V/6.3V 266N12 and shares the 266 Series dual 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary.
Choose the 266N12B when your circuit is specified around 12V or 6V rather than the 12.6V/6.3V filament values; its unit weight is 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg).
Each unit has a dual 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary (wired in parallel for 117V, in series for 234V) and dual secondaries that can be used as a center tapped secondary, connected in parallel, or used individually. The 266N12B is designed for use with all windings engaged. Primary leads are Blk, Wht, Brn and Orn; secondary leads are Red, Blu, Gry and Yel, all at least 6" long.
