Hammond 261M6 83VA 215V Plate & Filament Transformer

The 261M6 is the largest unit in the 261-262 Series at 83 VA, with a 215V secondary rated 269 mA and a 6.3V filament/auxiliary winding at 4A. Running from a 115 VAC, 60 Hz primary, it supplies comparatively high current at a moderate voltage for small power supplies, bias supplies, preamps and test equipment.

Mechanically it is an economical two hole, channel bracket, chassis mount design with minimum 5" long leads. Ordering-table dimensions are A 4.50 in (114 mm), B 2.50 in (64 mm), C 2.93 in (74 mm) and D 4.00 in (102 mm), with mounting slot G 0.20 x 0.31 in (5 x 8 mm). The schematic is figure #2.
